“Growing from your Roots.” Not only will you have an opportunity for a 
portfolio review/manuscript critique, we have a great line up of new 
speakers (Jim Averbeck, picture book workshop; Priscilla Burris, 
Illustrator’s workshop; Break out sessions on writing for young 
adults, characterization, and editing with Cheryl Zach, Betsy Haynes 
and others). It will be a day to roll up your sleeves, work, and learn 
among friends.
